SpaceXAI (formerly xAI) and its $60 billion acquisition target, Cursor (Anysphere), are launching their first jointly developed AI model as early as Wednesday, July 8, 2026. This release represents a watershed moment in the vertical integration of the developer software stack. Trained on SpaceX's massive Colossus supercomputer—a cluster scaling to roughly one million H100-equivalent GPUs—the new model is designed to ship directly inside the Cursor AI code editor and SpaceXAI's developer-facing surface, Grok Build.
