Join a slow 4-mile bike ride celebrating the completion of the "Hill East Loop" of protected bike lanes along 17th/Potomac/19th. The ride starts at Stanton Park (north side of the park near the 5th St intersection) and ends at Kingman Island for a picnic, nature exploration, and live music from The Grandsons, Jr. Families are encouraged to bring their own picnic. Volunteers and MPD bike team officers will marshal the ride to ensure safety. Free bike maintenance help is available starting at 3:45 PM. Free registration is requested on Eventbrite.
