A world-class exposition and modern-day World’s Fair celebrating the people, traditions, innovations, and spirit of America. Spanning from the U.S. Capitol to the Washington Monument, the Great American State Fair features state pavilions with more than 150 exhibits from all 56 states and territories, interactive family-friendly attractions, live musical performances, military ensembles, movie screenings, spectacular flyovers, daily cultural programming, and an iconic Ferris wheel on the National Mall. Free and open to the public; pre-registration is encouraged but walk-ups are welcome.
Hours:
- Sunday–Wednesday: 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Thursday–Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
- July 4th: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.
