The Great American State Fair is a once-in-a-generation, 16-day national exposition celebrating America's 250th Birthday on the National Mall.
It features more than 150 exhibits from all 56 states and territories, businesses, innovators, and civic organizations. Highlights include:
- State pavilions and industry displays
- Family-friendly attractions and daily cultural programming
- Live musical performances, military ensembles, and spectacular flyovers
- Movie screenings
- An iconic Ferris wheel right on the National Mall!
Operating Hours:
- Sunday–Wednesday: 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Thursday–Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
- July 4th: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.
Admission is free and open to the public; advance pre-registration is encouraged but walk-ups are welcome. Entry points are at 12th Street and 7th Street along Jefferson Drive SW and Madison Drive NW.
