Head to the Folger Shakespeare Library's Shakespeare Exhibition Hall to see a replica 17th-century printing press in action! Similar to the press that printed the First Folio, this demonstration shows how Shakespeare's plays were first published. Visitors can come and go during the demonstrations, which last an hour, and are encouraged to take home a copy of what's being printed (usually an opening from the First Folio).
Sessions are offered at:
- 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM
- 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
