Celebrate the Zoo’s newest Asian elephant calf, Linh Mai, with a day of family-friendly activities!
Sunday schedule:
- 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Chalk Riot (Great Meadow) - Join in creating a colorful chalk mural that comes to life before your eyes.
- 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Rhythmaya Dance Group Performance & Workshop (Lion/Tiger Hill) - Enjoy a vibrant South Indian dance performance, then join in for a short interactive workshop.
Admission to the Zoo and festival is FREE, but a free timed-entry pass must be reserved in advance at nationalzoo.si.edu. Paid parking is available for $30-$40, or take metro to Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan.
