Join award-winning Afro-Dominican chef, activist, author, and D.C.-based community leader Paola Velez for a free cooking demonstration full of creative flavor twists. Velez blends Dominican traditions, Bronx influences, and global imagination to honor roots and history. Following the demo, copies of her book "Bodega Bakes" will be available for purchase and signing.
